The Gulf Stream Magazine Summer Writing Contest is open to writers of fiction and poetry. The winner in each genre will be awarded $100.
The 2019 contest judges are Laura Lee Smith (fiction) and Ariel Francisco (poetry).
Publication:
The winning story and poem from the 2019 contest will be published in Gulf Stream Magazine and each winner will receive $100. Up to two finalists will be announced in both categories. All finalists will be eligible for publication and will be reimbursed for their contest entry fee. Entry fee for the contest is $7.
Fiction: Under 5,000 words (English only)
Poetry: Up to 5 poems (*We are accepting poetry submissions in both English and Spanish)
