Poet and scholar, David Lehman, is interviewed by Gulf Stream‘s Ashley M. Jones. Lehman was visiting Florida International University on October 17th as part of the Writers on the Bay reading series. Lehman and Jones discuss prose poetry and its limitations (or lack thereof), the ways in which poetry can be generated with or without inspiration, the new technological frontier of poetry, and poetry’s place in popular culture.
