Dear

Dear stranger on a train,
with green shirt and neat beard,
yellow jacket,
that brings to mind
rubber ducks. You look safe and kind
and steady.
I think my hand would like
the shape of your skull in the night.
And in the day we could splash in puddles,
and collect leaves,
to laminate.
But then again,
No.
